Time to talk spring trends! This season, feminine frocks are all the rage. From sexy sundresses to evening glam,
long-and-lean to strapless sheaths, it’s time to DRESS it up. Best of all, dresses are easy to wear, easy to pack and can be easy on the wallet.

There are prints a plenty -- pretty floral and standout graphics. You may even want to mix and match as designers did on the runway, from varying stripes, high-contrast color blocking and prints that combine artful large and precious small motifs.
Twinkle, twinkle little star! Wenlan Chia has plenty of options! Why not consider her
“Etoile” printed dress? Called “Sweet Nothings,” it’s 100% silk charmeuse. The delicate draping of this dress compliments the etoile print and softly accentuates the curves.
Love it with black gladiator chunky heels!
Or how about Twinkle by Wenlan’s “Diary” dress? This afternoon dress has an empire waist, silk piping trims the bust line. Called “Botanical Garden,” it’s perfect for a tea party or girl’s Sunday brunch.

Color always packs a punch in spring. The greens, blues and purples from fall continue this season in lighter, brighter shades. Those shades are balanced by oranges, pinks and peachy-nude colors. White looks just right, too!
Know for her form fitting, whimsical dresses, Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss gives us girls so many fabulous choices, but choose we must!
Strapless looks are hot, hot, hot! How about a Shoshanna cherry shirred bodice dress? This sexy silk number will surely turn heads, especially if you add a bold necklace.
DRAMA! Go for her silk Aztec beaded necklace dress. It’s ornate, and the pop of color adds a touch of fun. All you need is great pair of flat sandals. Maybe a few bangles.
Watered down hues mixed with white look very 2009. A periwinkle/white tiered strapless dress made of 100% silk will surely have you frolicking in style. Accessorize with a strappy sandal or even a statement hat!

From sophisticated glimmer to all out rock-and-roll, there are many golden moments for spring. In fact, metallics are glistening in shades of copper, bronze and gold. From New York to Paris, designers gleamed on. On the list: lame, lacquered leather, burnished and embellished fabrics, too!
Styling tip: Never overdo! Go for understated simplicity.
At Ports 1961, Creative Director Tia Cibani certainly mines the field! Her metallic copper tunic dress is right on trend and a great way to shift into spring! Stick with Cibani’s global perspective--and pair it with a chunky (ethnic) wooden necklace and ankle strap tie-up high heel sandals. It can also work with a pair of black leggings!
So get ready for your spring fling? It’s all coming up roses!
