Designers: Chip and Pepper Foster
From music videos to barbecue sauce, brothers Chip and Pepper Foster have done it all--with energy that makes most heads spin. In 2003, the identical twins, originally from Canada, launched the premium vintage denim line called Chip & Pepper. The line’s popularity has expanded to include maternity, kids, knitwear, hats, leather goods, and sportswear; their vintage, university-logoed tees are a huge hit. Worn by Jessica Alba, Lindsey Lohan and Fergie, Chip & Pepper is sold through select department and specialty stores in more than 42 countries, as well as in its retail locations in New York City, Dallas and Newport Beach, CA.

Founded in 2002 by industry veteran Jeff Shafer, Agave has become a must-have amongst denim connoisseurs. Once for men only, this line recently expanded to include a premium denim collection for women. Agave uses only the finest Japanese and USA-made Supima cotton denim and luxury fabrics. All jeans are cut, sewn and hand-finished in California. The brand has become a personal favorite of actors and musicians, including Gerard Butler, Will Smith, Katherine McPhee, Zooey Deschanel, Katherine Heigl and Courtney Cox. Agave is sold in over 600 denim and specialty boutiques in the US & Canada, as well as Japan, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain and Brazil. The women’s collection is currently available at Bloomingdales.

Launched in 2005, BB Dakota has catapulted onto the fashion scene and continues to evolve with its unique, fashion-forward product. Owner and designer Gloria Brandes brings her distinctive French sensibility to the clothing that she creates. BB Dakota provides trendsetters like Pink and Rihanna with great value and distinctive designs. The brand is available in better department stores nationwide, and more than 1,000 specialty boutiques across the globe.

Launched in Venezuela-born designer Rocio Ildemaro always adored fashion, especially footwear. Ildemaro’s passion for shoes led her to Italy, where she turned her obsession into a career. After mastering the art of bespoke shoe design in Milan, she moved stateside and quickly earned a fashion following with her custom-made, high-end shoes. For Fall 2009, she launches her eponymous collection of ready-to-wear shoes, including pumps, sexy stilettos, high-heeled boots and booties. Signature touches include edgy details like gold buttons and studs. This footwear designer believes in shoes that are “trendsetting yet timeless.”
