Designers Nick Verreos and David Paul formed the LA-based NIKOLAKI after Henri Bendel bought the line for its Manhattan flagship store. Verreos received national and international attention after appearing on Project Runway (Season 2) and has since enjoyed success as a red carpet designer and fashion expert on many broadcast outlets. Paul worked on costuming for various hit TV shows, as well as alongside industry veterans like Vogue icon Andre Leon Talley and photographer Arthur Elgort. Known for its Couture-like quality, Grecian draping and sumptuous silk and jersey fabrications, the collection has been worn on the Red Carpet by Heidi Klum, Eva Longoria, Carrie Ann Inaba, Haylie Duff, Kathy Griffin and Marlee Matlin .
